Attivi da diversi anni i Bananalonga escono finalmente col primo ep, per la neonata La Vigna Dischi, mezz'oretta scarsa di suoni che ci catapultano direttamente in spiagge ridenti e affollate, con tanta voglia di ballare nonostante il caldo imperante, ecco possiamo dire che la band si propone come quel venticello leggero che ogni tanto arriva da non si sa dove e che in quel momento sotto il sole cocente è una benedizione.  Irriverenti sin dal nome che è tutto un programma, i nostri giocano con perizia a restituire atmosfere lontane e spensierate, in un recupero di una genuinità che è andata perduta col tempo e negli anni, rimescolando con freschezza, surf, cha cha , messico, nuvole e haway... con Giovanni Gulino e Carmelo Pipitone dei Marta sui Tubi, Carpa Koi e Massimo Martellotta dei Calibro 35  che partecipano al cocktail "ghiacciato" servito dai nostri con divertimento e ironia: "Radio Rosetta": sulla chitarra in stile hawaiiana di Carmelo Pipito...
